We had our mugs preserved forever.

I have so much to blog about but I've had almost zero time to do it. Between rehearsals, piano lessons, two birthdays, my SITS day and General Conference, life's been preeeetty hectic. I've decided the best thing to do is start at the very beginning. It's a very good place to start, you know. Says Maria, from "The Sound of Music."

Two Fridays ago (March 23), we enlisted the boss photography skills of my friend Jessica Drew to update our family pictures. It had been about a year and a half since our previous shoot, and as you can imagine, things had changed. Dramatically. One: both my hair and Bubby's has tripled in length. Two: Smush has teeth, a lot more hair and the ability to transport himself. Meaning he can run. Fast.

We headed out to the desert nature preserve directly behind our home and got to work! Well, Jessica got to work. We just acted like we love each other and chased Smush all over the place. Good times for all.

These are a few of my favorite pictures (wow, I must have "The Sound of Music" on my mind today):

What? Those aren't enough?! Well, take your fanny over here to see LOTS more!

And seriously, if you're in Arizona and need pictures, Jessica is your girl. Not only does she capture the best moments, she edits tastefully, she's accommodating and she's QUICK! And super-affordable. Love her. Book your next Arizona photo shoot here.
