If you love the song "Rolling in the Deep" by ADELE, you will love this arrangement.
If you hate the song, you will still love it. WATCH!
P.S. That man playing the piano, Jon Schmidt, is one of my greatest musical inspirations. EVER. I saw him perform live when I was a sophomore in high school and his performance completely reawakened my love for the piano. A guy that plays the piano upside down, or with his toes or forearms? Doesn't get much cooler than that.
oh i love johnny boy!! he is amazing! there was this one time that my family and i went to see him in concert and my brother got to go on stage and play with him. so amazing! and fun!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I think I loved this more than Adele's version! I think Jon Schmidt is fabulous. We got him to come and do a charity concert when I at Utah State; he's not only extremely talented but the most down to earth guy! Great post!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I can't remember who's blog I found your's on and I don't know if we knew each other, but I went to Highland too (class of '04)! Love your blog.
love love love.
ReplyDeletehe is wonderful! i wish i hadn't begged my mom to let me drop piano lessons when i was younger... the things i wish i'd go back and re-do now that i'm older and have more sense in this brain of mine...

You loved the piano part?! Imagine my overwhelming thrill watching this as a pianist AND a cellist! It makes me want to play both more often!
ReplyDeleteThe only weird thing is that the cellist has a pretty striking resemblance to Nathan Lane.... ;)
@Rebecca, he does!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Jon Schmidtt... I was introduced to him as a missionary, by me companion who had his "Hymns Without Words" cd, and I HAD to buy it. I still love to listen to his arrangement of "Saints Behold How Great Jehovah/..." and the other song I can't remember the name of, how sad is that! But I LOVE the song!
