A couple points:
1) Why didn't I think to clean my mirror beforehand? Oh well; at least you know I'm a regular human being with a dirty bathroom mirror.
2) "Whale tail" was supposed to be "whale spout." But I made up for it with the wiggle-dance, right?
3) "Start twisting it as fast as you can" was supposed to be "as tightly as you can." Obviously, I was a little rushed by the fact the camera batteries were about to die. I don't really want you to get too crazy with your twisting, mmkay?
4) I really need a better video camera.
You crack me up Jenna. I want to be cool like you!! I better go fix my hair into a hipster bun :).
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, great post. I was wondering how you did it.
you look like tinkerbell!!! that means: super pretty (she's my fave) :)
ReplyDeleteLooks good!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute and easy! Also, I recommend getting the little elastic clear bands. I watched a tutorial on another blog for a cute updo that looks similar to what you did and she used clear bands. I ordered them online and now I'm obsessed with them. You can't see how the hair is tied together and it looks really nice! I used Conair polybands!
ReplyDeleteOh how I heart you Jenna! Gonna hipster bun my hair today for clinicals, woohoo!!! =)
ReplyDeleteHow are you so cute? I love the whale spout, I wear my hair like that often :) It's great for going to the gym!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm grateful for this video. I'm going to do this bun. Easy but looks good. And I love seeing your personality on camera!
ReplyDeleteYou could totally rock a sock bun too!
ReplyDeleteYay thanks!
ReplyDeleteYay, it's hipster bun day! :)
ReplyDeleteI have too much hair to do mine like that. I use scrunchies for mine and use 3. I break the bands like that after one use. I've wished I could do bangs but I just can't handle the hair in my face. My little girl is having the same bang issue so I've decided to let her grow them out. Oh how I envy people that do good with shorter hair.
