To celebrate, I'm going with Dill to Gammage to see Wicked tonight! Haha, just kidding. Well, I AM going to see Wicked tonight, but not in celebration of my blog's 400th entry. It's my early birthday present. Yes, my husband is the bomb. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures to show you!
But really. I need to celebrate this momentous occasion, right? And truly, I have YOU to thank. Yes, you, in your messy hipster bun. Yes, you, in the baby spit-up-stained shirt. You, with no make-up on. You, the Mormon housewife looking for crafts that anyone can do, not just self-proclaimed crafty people. You, the curious wonderer searching for "Plex the Robot" like so many others who have happened upon this site (WHY?!)
If it weren't for your loyal readership, I would have given up writing a long time ago. So, thank you. Thank you for helping me to write 400 posts.
Let's do a giveaway, shall we?
You know I can't resist Wal-Mart, even though I absolutely loathe it (the prices are too good for this cheap-o!). But if I had my druthers, I'd be a Target girl through and through. Everything about Target is genius -- its branding, its products, its design, its mojo. I could honestly live there.
So today, I'm giving away a $50 Target gift card! I know! Squeal! Here's what you have to do to qualify:
1) Be a follower of my blog. If you're not already, just head over to my sidebar, find all the cute little faces, click on the Follow button, and voila! You now follow me.
2) Leave a comment on this post telling me what you'd like to purchase from Target with your winnings, when you win. Positive thinking.
3) Leave a SECOND comment on this post by completing one (1) of the following: Tweeting about this giveaway, sharing it on Facebook or blogging about it. Be sure to include a link or tag me (Facebook -- "Mom, the Intern," Twitter -- @momtheintern) so I can see your shout-out!
Comments need to include an e-mail address, OR your Blogger profile needs to be connected to your e-mail. 'Cuz I'm not a mind-reader, nor a private investigator. Though I probably could find you if I had to, being a journalist and all.
The giveaway will end on March 15 at 11:59 p.m.! So get your comments in before that time.
That's all, folks! Have fun and thx 4 the memories. Srsly.
I want to spend $50 on clearance items, like I do everytime I go to target.
ReplyDeleteoh this is the easiest question ive ever had to answer! since i have 3 in diapers now (killmenow) i will definitely spend $50 on diapers! :] and that should last me a couple weeks! LOL
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I'd probably buy new shoes for me and my little boy and most likely Clorox wipes because we go through those reallly fast!
ReplyDeleteI want to spend MY $50 that I WILL win (wink, wink) on maternity clothes! :)
ReplyDeletedefinitely gonna spend it on 12 month sleepers. You would think with my 3rd boy I would be stocked but my other two must have gone straight from 9 months to 18 months! Oh with the leftovers, diapers for sure!
ReplyDeleteWow, 400 posts! Good Job Jenna. What I would spend the $50 gift card on would be something for me. The smart thing would be to buy diapers for my little one but I'm the one who changes them so I deserve a reward, right? Sweet, I hope I win:)

ReplyDeleteShared it on my Facebook page. <3 your blog!
ReplyDeleteI'd buy diapers for my twin boys and maybe something small for myself.
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely purchase something spring related - this warm weather has me itching for sunshine and barbecues!
ReplyDeleteIf I were to win, I would buy a PSN card at Target. I would use it for the PSN games Trine 2, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Fancy Pants Adventures, and Earthworm Jim HD.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I have to pick something to buy? I liked the first posters comment...clearance items. I'm all over that! Although, I would probably spend it getting things to keep the kiddos occupied this summer...stuff from the $1 section, water fun, etc. Oh, and maybe some socks...because we never seem to have enough of those.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I love your blog. I love how you write :D Keep up the awesome posts.
sankat21 (at) hotmail (dot) com
I've been following you, like, forever. Totally. 400 posts! Gasp!
ReplyDeleteAnd I shouted you out on my Facebook wall. I also said sweet things about you. Because I'm like that.

ReplyDeleteI follow you! I should probably say that I'd buy diapers as a thrifty mom would, but let's be honest. I've been dying for some new shoes!!! :) Congrats on 400 posts! (megajill@hotmail.com)
ReplyDeleteFacebook'd https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=516412058
ReplyDeleteWhen I win, I'd buy some new kitchen chairs that we're really in need of. Or maybe a couch cover.
ReplyDeleteI tweeted!
ReplyDeleteI think I would spend 50 bucks on clothes. I haven't gotten any good clothes for months and now that I'm going to be ballooning up I think I'd do some damage in the maternity department. (That is crazy for me to even think about right now, but I'm sure the day will come when that's something on my to-do list.)
ReplyDeleteI posted it on facebook!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I will buy me some new sheets! The pretty Shabby Chic ones...in pink with ruffles! I've been eyeing them for a while now!
ReplyDeleteI facebooked it!
ReplyDeleteOoh -- $50 would buy my sweet almost-two-year-old a LOT of fun clothes for summertime! She needs a new swimsuit for sure! Thanks for the chance; I love reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteIf I won the $50 gift card to Taget I would buy clothes for myself. My baby girl is almost 16 months and I haven't gone shopping for myself yet since I was pregnant and let's face it, every mom needs an opportunity to shop for herself!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower via GFC.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get this cute cube ottoman I saw there the other day if I won!
family74014 at gmail dot com
I would use the fifty to buy me some cute new shoes cause I feel want and need some. And I would worry if they're on sale or not. Sometimes you just need to splurge on yourself, especially when you just had a baby and your body isn't looking too hot.
ReplyDeleteI shared your link on Facebook.

ReplyDeleteI would buy some new things for the baby I am pregnant with.
ReplyDeleteThis is much better than pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteWhen I win, I'd like to buy a movie and then of course, miscellaneous stuff that you always seem to pick up when you're there.
So, uh, March 15 is my birthday, so you HAVE to pick me!! That'd just be wrong! WHEN I win this card (remember, it's my b-day that day!) I will run down there and get some new clothes!! I'm in desperate need!!
ReplyDeleteI live in Canada, and I have to wait 2 more years until we get target. Alas, just over the border in Bellingham is a Target, and I love it! Sooo, I would probably buy diapers. I have 2 babies in diapers, and they are so darn tootin ( excuse the pun) expensive!
ReplyDeleteAnd...I just bragged about you on Facebook! (p.s. Just in case you forgot, it's my birthday that day....) :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to win! I would probably spend a month shopping at target just dreaming about all the pretties I could buy. Because I get a little paralyzed by the opportunity cost when it comes to gift cards, I'd finally give in and go on a clearance rack shopping spree, probably 6 months from now :)
ReplyDeleteI would get some cute spring plates. They have to cutest line of platters and pitchers out right now. I keep walking past them, cause I know if I stop one will jump in my cart.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog and you make me want to live in Arizona just so I can be your neighbor and friend.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog of course! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I would buy some new jeans from Target if I got that... Mine have refused to fit anymore!
I think I would love to get stuff to make my room more spring-like. New sheets or a new bed spread.
ReplyDeleteHmmm what wouldn't I buy at target. I am really needing cute curtains for my dining room sliding door that leads out to our patio. If not that I would purchase a new bookcase to start building my church book collection i've recently started.
ReplyDeleteWell, being the shoe fanatic that I am, I would by shoes!!!! Luckily, my girls both wear the same size so we can all share!!!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteI'd spend it on anything and everything since I'm there at least once a week anyway :)
ReplyDeleteSweet! I do follow you...
ReplyDeleteI think I would spend that lovely $50 on CLOTHING. Because I got a Target gift card for Christmas, and we ended up using it on food because we couldn't afford it... I need me some cute clothes.
I shall Tweet you.
ReplyDeleteDarciCole {at} gmail {dot} com

I would put it towards the bed set I have my eye one
ReplyDeleteWhen I win my $50, I'm spending a few bucks in the dollar section to load up Carrie's Easter basket, and then having a baby heyday shopping for new cute things to dress Brigette in and decorate her room with! I'm so psyched!

ReplyDeleteI would spend it on new clothes, since I've dropped a bunch of weight and am now swimming in everything I currently own. Hooray for smaller clothes!
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely head right on over to the Home Decor section! Doing a little revamping to our place and would love to get a few things for Target!! Love the the blog as usual Jenna!!
ReplyDeleteI would nickle and dime that baby with clearanced items from home decor, clothes, and kitchen items.

ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to spend the money on baby items for our next one coming in August!! I LOVE Target, best store ever :)
ReplyDeleteI would spend the $50 on groceries. I know, lame, right? But, until I get a new job I'm kinda penny pinchin' (And, I would hide the GC from my hubby, because when he thinks Target, he thinks Transformer toys and those toys are way too pricey for me!)
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteI would spend $50 on either diapers or some new spring clothes!
ReplyDeleteWow, 400 posts is awesome Jenna! If I win this much-desired Target gift card, I would spend it on some new kitchen gadgets I've been wanting.
ReplyDeleteI have a baby due next Friday. Considering I live in Vegas and springtime equals summertime, I would spend the gift card on summer clothes, since mine are not going to fit that soon.
ReplyDeleteI also tweeted about it!
ReplyDeleteI posted it on FB!

ReplyDeletescottandtoni at hotmail dot com
I'd probably buy baby clothes. And maybe some makeup. katieallenharris(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 400 awesome posts!
Ah, with $50? I'd buy sandals for the three of us for the summer--since we don't have one pair between us!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this blog.
Shared on the Fazebuk!
ReplyDeletecedarbird13@hotmail.com
Congrats, 400 is quite an accomplishment! I love target. I was there yesterday drooling over everything. I would probably buy sandals for my little girly and some home decor things. I never can justify spending my money on them (yes I am also a cheapo!). (shared of facebook. mish_mash289(at)hotmail(dot)com.
ReplyDeleteI would spend the money on gardening items. I teach Kindergarten and every spring we grow plants in little root boxes so the kids can find the parts of the plant. I'd love to put that money towards a REAL root box instead of using plastic cups every year.
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to include my e-mail address. kerimae2005@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm linking this post on FB now.
Ok ok, I better enter. Because Target and I are pals. I'd probably get something for myself, since it seems like any money spent goes to clothes for growing children, car repairs, or groceries. Mama needs new shoes!
