Furry face and cuddle buns.

This is the furry face. It's going back to Utah in two weeks for another round of filming for the Life of Jesus Christ Bible videos. Remember? We'll see about the Seneca Crane beard after filming is complete. Not sure if it's going to happen. Do you guys know of anyone local who could recreate that masterpiece on my man's face? Because let's face it -- that would be superb.

The Beard has been a little more fun this time around, especially since I was more prepared for its evolution. Still, the awkward questions and joking abound. A few weeks ago, an elderly gentleman in our congregation rode up to Dill on his Jazzy Chair and teased, "You forgot to shave this morning!" Dill, always one to play along, grabbed his face in shock and said, "I did?! Oh no!!!" The man laughed and told us to "have a beautiful day!" as he rode off. I thought it was such a cute little moment.

Speaking of cute ... little Buckwheat loves to snuggle up in my bed and watch television during late afternoons. The other day, I caught him with his arm behind his head, totally enamored with the LeapFrog Letter Factory video he was watching. Of course, I had to snap a picture. Afterward, I jumped in and cuddled with him. What a precious little boy.

  1. Yay for Dill!! I'm so glad he gets to do it again. His beard looks great. Your stories about it made me laugh - I can so relate! You should have Dill read Sam's beard series - I bet he'd get a crack out of it! http://samricks.com/category/the-beard/

  4. I guess I could tweet this, but I just saw a comment from you on Steph Thomas' birth story. So, how do you know her? Blogging world? BYU? And did you recognize me in the story, or are you just as surprised as I am about this random connection? (I am McKay's cousin.)

I like feedback almost as much as I like food.
